Built and delivered end to end
The brief
A school-textbook publisher selling through printed catalogues and WhatsApp needed a site where schools could browse the full list without phoning anyone.
What I built
A catalogue browsable by school level — early years, primary, secondary — with the bilingual and arts collections separated, PDF catalogue downloads, the shop location and a contact form that reaches the publisher's inbox.
Decisions
No CMS. The catalogue changes once or twice a year. Standing up WordPress would have handed the client a system to update, patch and pay for, to solve a problem they don't have.
No framework. HTML, CSS and JavaScript, minified. The page opens fast even on a school's connection, which is where it will actually be opened.
Light and dark themes, because the site gets read both from an office by day and from a phone at night.
